Definition
Determines whether the allocated objects themselves are also transported when transporting the object allocations.
Use
This option intended for keeping transports of sub-areas consistent. Transporting an object allocation is only feasible if the allocated object itself (a) already exists in the target system, (b) is to be created in the target system afterwards, or (c) is also transported to the target system. You can also use a different object group to separately transport the required objects.
By selecting this flag, you can transport the required objects at the same time without having to explicitly select them.
Be aware that objects that already exist in the target system and have the same names are replaced with the transported objects.
Procedure
Examples
You want to transport a few consolidation units to a client that is partially set up. Therefore, all other object groups are excluded from being transported. You also want to transport the translation method assignments of the selected consolidation units.
If you select the flag described here, the allocated translation methods are also included in the transport request.
If you do not select the flag, you must make sure that the required translation methods are defined in the target system. A good way to do this is to explicitly transport all translation methods using the object group consolidation methods.
Dependencies
For this flag to take effect, the object allocation as well as the superior object group must also be chosen for the transport.
Whether or not the same types of objects are explicitly selected within another object group has no effect on whether the objects are also transported in this context, or not.
