Use

Select this flag if you want to separately store in the database any temporal differences incurred during currency translation.

This separated disclosure of differences is independent of whether the translated FS item has any subassignments.

The following values are available:

  • '0' - Original rate

    The periodic value in local currency is the transaction itself.

    The periodic value in group currency shows the reference value of the transaction.

  • '1' - The periodic value in group currency shows the delta (difference) between the group currency value and the reference value of the transaction.
  • '2' - The periodic value in group currency shows the temporal difference with respect to the reference exchange rate.

    This is the change resulting from the translation of the prior period values using a new reference exchange rate.

  • '3' - The period value in group currency shows the temporal difference with respect to the delta between the group currency value and the reference currency value.

Balance carryforward converts the records with a value of 2 to 0 and records with a value of 3 to 1.
