Definition

When this flag is on, the totals items ignore their own breakdown category.

This affects validations and reporting with drilldowns and Interactive Excel. The value of a totals item is the sum of the values of the associated value items. The flag affects whether a totals item includes breakdowns that belong to the associated value items:

1. If the flag is off, the system condenses those subassignments not contained in the breakdown category of the totals item.

   Example: Say, a totals item is associated with two value items which are both broken down by partner unit. If the totals item is also broken down by partner unit, these breakdowns are then included. But if the totals item is NOT broken down by partner unit, only the total value of the value items are included, and the breakdown information is lost.

2. If the flag is on, condensing does not take place. In the earlier example, the partner breakdown information of both value items will always be included. The total item's breakdown category is totally irrelevant.
