Use
This field is used when entering reported financial data:
- directly in the SAP System and
- decentrally on PCs with MS ACCESS.
In Set Maintenance, you can create partner sets that are to be used as a default for breaking down FS items by partner units. Partner set IDs can have a maximum of 12 characters and consist of a prefix string, a hyphen and a suffix string.
Enter the set prefix in this field. When processing FS items that are broken down by trading partners, enter the set suffix in the breakdown category master record. The system automatically inserts the hyphen when combining the current prefix with the current suffix to determine the entire set ID.
Determining the partner set in this way enables you to use the set prefix for identifying different partner sets for various groups of consolidation units. For instance, you can have alternative defaults for partner breakdowns.
