Definition

Specifies who the system posts the offsetting entry in adjustments for minority interests in other comprehensive income within the Step Acquisition activity:

• As part of the differential
• To the reported items of other comprehensive income - that is, as an adjustment of the group value of other comprehensive income

If you choose Adjustment of Group Value, the system always uses the group share of the investee unit when calculating the adjustment of the group and minority values of other comprehensive income in activities that change the investment (step acquisition, partial divestiture, transfers). This also holds true when the consolidation of investments method is defined so that acquisitions are calculated using direct shares.

You can select Adjustment of Group Value only if you have activated the Other Comprehensive Income in Total Divestiture function.
