Definition
Specifies the processing type of assets held for sale in a reclassification method.
Use
If you assign to a reclassification task a reclassification method in which you have selected the Assets Held for Sale indicator, you must enter a processing type for the assets held for sale in the reclassification method.
By entering the processing type for assets held for sale, you specify which consolidation units, partner units, or investee units the system is to select for the reclassification method trigger.
- Consolidation units held for sale: Data records for consolidation units for which the intention of sale is not later than the date on which the reclassification method or task is executed
- Discontinued consolidation units: Data records for consolidation units for which the discontinuation of operations is not later than the date on which the reclassification method or task is executed
- Partner units held for sale: Data records for partner units for which the intention of sale is not later than the date on which the reclassification method or task is executed (with the prerequisite that the intended sale of the data record's consolidation unit has not yet occurred)
- Discontinued partner units: Data records for partner units for which the discontinuation of operations is not later than the date on which the reclassification method or task is executed (with the prerequisite that the discontinuation of operations of the data record's consolidation unit has not yet occurred)
- Equity-method investee units held for sale: Data records for investee units that meet the following conditions: (a) the intention of sale is not later than the date on which the reclassification method or task is executed; (b) the units are consolidated using the accounting technique equity method
Dependencies
You can select the processing type for assets held for sale indicator for a reclassification task only if you have first activated the Assets Held for Sale function in the dimension being used.
