Definition

Quantity of goods in an inventory product group.

Use

This quantity is used to calculate group cost of goods manufactured (COGM) during the elimination of interunit profit/loss in inventory. However, this is only possible if you enter the correpsonding COGM per unit of measure is entered for the supplying unit.

Procedure

Enter the quantity of goods in the product group concerned.

Dependencies

If either the inventory quantity or the corresponding COGM per unit of measure or both are missing, the system calculates group COGM from the inventory book value, valuation allowance and supplier percentages.
