Definition

User-specified grouping of inventory items into logistical units.

Use

Product groups reflect the intercompany supply of goods and servoces within your corporate group. You enter additional financial data on the basis of product groups and inventory items. The system computes your interunit profit/loss on the same basis. Elimination of interunit profit/loss in inventory takes place on the level of inventory items. You therefore need to assign one or more inventory items to each product group.
