Use

Activate this indicator if you want to create a hierarchy of consolidation groups grouped by profit center groups or profit centers or, in other words, map profit center groups and profit centers onto consolidation groups.

Procedure

Examples

Say, the following hierarchy of profit center groups or profit centers exists: PC group 100 consists of the profit centers 110 and 120.

Then the hierarchy created in the SAP component would be structured as follows:

• Consolidation groups would be created representing the profit centers and PC groups 110, 120 and 100, assuming the same names.

  The groups 110 and 120 would belong to the higher-level group 100.

• Consolidation group 100 is assigned under the top consolidation group 1.
• The profit centers and companies might be combined to create the following consolidation units:
• Group 110 consists of units 110-1 and 110-2.
• Group 120 consists of unit 120-1.
