Definition
Profit percentage fixed by the supplying consolidation unit.
Use
This percentage is used for calculating the group cost of goods manufactured. The profit portion is deducted from the sales revenue to determine the distribution costs and the cost of goods manufactured.
Procedure
Enter the percentage profit for the supplying unit.
Examples
Profit percentage: 20%
Supplier sales : 300
Markup : profit = 300 * 20 / 120 = 50
Gross margin : profit = 300 * 20 / 100 = 60
Dependencies
You can enter a percentage either as a markup or as a gross margin. When you enter supplier data, you indicate how the system should interpret the percentage.
