Use
If you select this indicator, goodwill entries are inherited by higher-level consolidation groups, even if goodwill entries already exist for the same parent/subsidiary relationship in these consolidation groups. The only time when the entries are not inherited is if goodwill entries exist in multiple lower-level groups for the same parent/subsidiary relationship and the amounts differ.
If you NOT select this indicator, inheritance only occurs if blank goodwill entries exist in the higher-level consolidation group for the respective parent/subsidiary relationship, and unambiguous goodwill entries are passed upwards by the lower-level consolidation groups.

Use
Activate this indicator if you want to delete the existing financial statement items in the specified consolidation chart of accounts prior to the transfer, in cases where such items are not already used in the transaction data.
