Definition
An organizational element is a variable of up to 3 characters and serves as a building block in generation. During a generation, the organizational element is substituted by firmly allocated characteristic values.
Example: Org Element | Char. Value | Description
---------------------------------------------------
VU | G_USA | Corporation in USA
VU | G_ITL | Corporation in Italy
VU | G_FRA | Corporation in France
.. | .. | ..
In this case three firm characteristic values are allocated to the organizational element VU (affiliated company).
There can be certain dependencies between organizational elements, whereas a result the characteristic values of a lower-level organizational element are dependent on those of a higher-level organizational element (context sensitive).
