Documentation
Definition
Determines that the selected entries for writing the transport request are always processed separately.
Use
Select the flag if you want the transport to modify the target system only to a minimal degree. If you select the flag, the transport only overwrites the matching entries that already exist.
Keep in mind that when you run mass transports, selecting this flag can cause a considerable volume of data.
Procedure
Examples
Say, you want to transport all of the document types of dimension 'AA'. In the general selection criteria, you specify dimension 'AA', object group 'data collection', and there you select 'document types'.
If the flag is selected, the target system retains the document types with different names as well as the non-identical settings of the document types that have the same name.
For example, if in the target system document type 'CO' in dimension 'AA' has the item category 'A' - postable item, this assignment will be retained. The transport might overwrite the assignment without changing it, but it will not delete the assignment.
