Use
Select this indicator to apply ordinary amortization to any negative goodwill that is incurred during consolidation of investments.
Dependencies
In the following Customizing screens for consolidation of investments, you will be able to make global or method-specific definitions as to the method of amortization and the amortization items to be used.
In addition to ordinary amortization, you can also choose extraordinary amortization, periodic reduction, and direct elimination for treating negative goodwill. When multiple options are chosen, you must define in the C/I method which option is valid for each method.
