Documentation
Definition
Specifies the sequential position where the respective ID of a transactional application's organizational unit is to be inserted when creating the ID for an organizational unit of Consolidation.
Use
Procedure
Specify sequential position numbers starting with 1 going upwards using increments of 1 (e.g., 1,2,3...).
Examples
The IDs of the consolidation units in business area consolidation, for instance, are created by combining the company ID (e.g. 1000) with a consolidation business area (e.g. 20).
If the position for company IDs is defined as 1, and the prefix for the business area IDs is defined as a dash (-), the ID for the consolidation unit would then be made up of the company ID, a dash, and the business unit ID (e.g. 1000-20).
