Definition
Use
The ID of the organizational unit is adopted as the ID field of the CS organizational unit using the length specified here. The prefix is disregarded. If the ID is alpha-numeric, the portion of the ID that is adopted starts from the left (left-justification). Otherwise, the right-hand portion of the ID is adopted (right-justification).
Procedure
Examples
If the company IDs 100 and C100 were to be transferred to the CS org units with a length of 3, you would end up with the IDs 100 and C10.
Dependencies
The total length of the ID of a CS org unit results from the sum of the significant lengths of all org units involved plus their prefices. However, the total length may not exceed the length of the shortest CS org unit ID - in respect to all of the dimensions that use the same consolidation type.
