Use

Select this flag if you want to overwrite existing objects or settings when adding new objects or Customizing settings.

The program retains all existing settings for objects that are not affected by the insertion of new settings.

Procedure

Examples

Say, the target dimension contains consolidation unit A1000 and the assignments of description, address, tax rate, methods, etc.

When consolidation unit A1000 of the same name is copied with an assignment of a different translation method, and the flag is selected, the existing assignment in the target dimension is overwritten. Assignments that are not maintained in the source dimension do not modify any existing assignments in the target dimension. The other assignments are retained.
