Reported item for the third-party investment
Use
So that the system is able to calculate the full goodwill, you have to report the investment by third-party investors. To do this, you have to enter the book value of the third-party investment in the totals data at posting level zero.
Dependencies
The reporting item for third-party investment has to be a statistical item.
The system only calculates the full goodwill if the Separation of Goodwill from Investment function is active in the system utilization of the consolidation of investments.
