Use
Select this indicator if you want the full amount of goodwill incurred in consolidation of investments to be directly written off instead of being capitalized.
Dependencies
In the following Customizing screens for consolidation of investments, you can make global or method-specific definitions regarding the writeoff procedures and items.
In addition to direct writeoff, you can choose the options "ordinary amortization", "extraordinary amortization", "direct elimination" and/or "periodic reduction" for treating goodwill. When multiple options are chosen, you specify in the C/I method which option is to be valid for each method.
