Documentation
Definition
The fixing feature is only relevant to manual entry of postings. A fixed subassignment must have a unique value in all line items, in which it is assigned.
- If a temporary fixing is planned for a subassignment with a non-fixed default, it is first displayed on the line item screen and can be assigned per line item with different values.
As long as a temporarily fixed subassignment has a unique value, it can be temporarily fixed. It is then removed from the line item screen, displayed on the screen with unique subassignments, and assigned. - If a temporary fixing is planned for a subassignment with a fixed default, it is first displayed and maintained on the screen with unique subassignments. It's value is automatically copied to all line items in which a breakdown by this subassignment is allowed.
The temporary fixing can be revoked at any time. In this case, the subassignment is shown on the line item screen, where it can be assigned differently per line item. - Permanently fixed subassignments are always displayed and assigned on the screen with unique subassignments. In contrast to temporarily fixed subassignments, the permanent fixing can not be revoked during entry of the posting. The values of permanenty fixed characteristics are entered on the screen with unique subassignments and are automatically transferred from there into the line items.
