Documentation
Definition
Delta years determine the entire length of the consolidation cycle when using multi-period consolidation.
The first delta year (with required entry "00") reflects the starting year. Additional delta years ("01" to a maximum of "99") point to years following the starting year.
Use
When customizing multi-period consolidation, you make en entry for each valid delta year in a consolidation cycle. You assign exactly one consolidation frequency to each delta year. For example, if there are three delta years, you can assign one to three different consolidation frequencies.
You assign each consolidation cycle (along with one or more delta years) to a version.
Dependencies
Example
Say, you specify starting year "2001" when assigning a consolidation cycle to the version.
You define two delta years - "00" (for 2001) and "01" (für 2002) - and assign a consolidation frequency to each delta year.
