Definition
Key used to identify a consolidation document.
Use
Document numbers are unique per dimension, document type, version, and fiscal year. When you create a consolidation document manually, you can either specify a document number yourself or the system allocates a number from a predefined range (internal number allocation). When a document is cancelled, or if automatic entries are posted, numbers can only be allocated internally.
