Definition

Use

When you copy organizational units into an integrated dimension, the entire hierarchy from the sender system is converted, and the resulting units inserted at selected nodes of the cons group hierarchy.

Select this option if you only want to copy those organizational units that are not yet used in the current hierarchy ("Delta copy").

Procedure

After copying new org units only, you usually need to make subsequent adjustments to the cons group hierarchy.

Examples

You use integration with Profit Center Accounting. Originally, you converted the entire standard hierachy of profit centers and profit center groups into consolidation org units. Since that conversion, several new profit centers have been added to the Profit Center Accounting hierarchy. You now want to integrate these into EC-CS. However, because you have since made changes to the org units in Customizing, you do not want to copy the entire hierachy again.

If you select "Delta copy", only the new profit centers are copied. You can then reassign these as required.
