Definition

Use

Set this indicator if you want to delete all equivalent Customizing settings in the target dimension before copying.

The settings will only be deleted if they can be replaced by equivalent settings from the source dimension.

Procedure

Examples

Assume that consolidation units with descriptions, addresses, tax rates, methods, and so on, exist in the target dimension.

When you copy one or more cons units with this indicator set, all cons units in the target dimension, plus any accompanying settings, are deleted.

Cons units are not deleted in the target dimension, even when the indicator is set, if:

  • You do not copy the object group "Organizational units".
  • No cons units exist in the target dimension.
  • No cons unit in the source dimension matches the selection criteria you specify.
