Use
To protect the totals data from simultaneous changes by different users, the system sets locks for online entry. These locks refer to the consolidation unit, which is just being edited.
When you set this indicator, the lock refers to the consolidation unit and in addition to the data entry layout. This means, that you can enter reported financial data to a consolidation unit with different data entry layouts (for example balance sheet and income statment), provided that the items of this data entry layout do not overlap.
