Definition

Enables you to adjust certain properties of a goodwill entry that has been automatically created by the system.

Use

If the indicator is selected, you can change the following settings and properties for automatically-created goodwill:

• Beginning book value
• Treatment of goodwill
• Negative goodwill indicator

When the consolidation of investments run is repeated, the changed settings are applied and no longer overwritten.

Dependencies

The indicator can be selected only if the period of goodwill incurrence is the same as the current period.
