Use
Activate this flag to create a hierarchy of consolidation groups grouped by consolidation business areas. This maps the cons business areas onto the consolidation groups.
Procedure
Examples
Assume that you have the consolidation units 10-1000, 10-2000 and 20-1000, which represent combinations of cons business areas (10 or 20) and companies (1000 or 2000).
Based on the consolidation units, a hierarchy of consolidation groups are created grouped by cons business areas as follows:
- Consolidation group 10 is created for units 10-1000 and 10-2000.
- Consolidation group 20 is created for unit 20-1000.
- Both groups are linked to top consolidation group 1.
