Documentation
Definition
If you select this indicator, you enable the reclassification of consolidation unit assets that are intended for sale.
Use
If the Assets Held for Sale function is active, you can enter two additional dates in the hierarchy attributes of the consolidation group alongside the dates for the first consolidation and final divestiture:
- Year and period of the qualified intention for sale
- Year and period of discontinued operations
The system then supports the following new features in the consolidation functions:
- Feasibility check for reclassification tasks based on the hierarchy attributes of the organizational units
- Suppression of planned amortization of fair value adjustments
- Suppression of minority interest adjustments in consolidation of investments for those retained earnings resulting from the revaluation of assets intended for sale that affects earnings
