Use
This is the calendary date of the acquisition.
When recording additional financial data for investments, you can have the system determine missing book values by translating another, recorded currency value (such as the investment book value of the upper unit in local currency) using the exchange rates valid on the date of acquisition.
When the local currencies of the investee units of the direct and indirect activities differ, consolidation of investments uses the acquisition date for the indirect activities that are triggered by the direct acquisition. In this case, the system calculates a historical exchange rate between the local currency of the investee unit of the indirect activity and the group currency. This calculation takes into consideration the changes in ownership percentage and the exchange rates as per the date of acquisition.
