Definition

Additional fields can have one of the following levels of availability:

  • Line Items: Subassignment
  • Line Items: Status Field
  • Totals Items: Subassignment

Use

Choose the level of availability which best meets your requirements.

Dependencies

If you choose the availability level Line Items: Subassignment the additional field will only be available on the line item level. You should choose this level of availability if you need the information in this field to decide which business transaction a document belongs to.

If you choose the availability level Line Items: Status Field the additional field will only be available on the line item level. You should choose this level of availability if you would like to introduce an additional status field. The standard functionality includes the fields Processing Status and Communication Status. You can assign a status value either manually during interactive reconciliation or using a BADI implementation.

If you choose the availability level Totals Items: Subassignment the additional field will be available in the totals data and the individual line items. You should choose this level of availability if you want to add secondary organizational units for matrix reconciliation. You should also choose this level of availability of you would like to use the field for definition of object groups to be used in the display of interactive reconciliation.
