Definition

The display attribute "Input" determines whether an entry can be made in a screen field.

Use

If the field is selected, entries can be made in the field.

If two influencing fields work together, the following combination rule applies, where

Blank means that the field is not selected
a field is selected if it contains an 'X':

• Blank plus blank results in blank. An entry cannot be made.
• Blank and 'X' makes blank. An entry cannot be made.
• 'X' plus 'X' means 'X'. An entry can be made.

The existing value for the attribute "Input" is an influence. This value also affects the combination.
