Use

The field selection string stipulates which fields will accept input, must be maintained, or are hidden when you enter earmarked funds and funds transfers. This stipulation is called the field status.

You can define field selection strings for any combination of field status group and field status variant. This means you can define different field statuses for any combination of FM area, document category, and document type.
