Definition

You use this indicator to define under which circumstances functional areas are determined by the system during the posting of documents.

  1. If this indicator is set, functional areas are always automatically determined by the system even if a functional area was entered manually by the user during the posting of documents.
    Take note that setting this indicator can have undesirable results, for example, in:
    1. Batch-Input or
    2. Depreciation of Assets.
  2. If this indicator is not set, the functional areas will only be determined by the system if the functional area is not initial.
