Documentation
Definition
Specifies during creation of the reorganization plan whether the account assignment elements are handled together as an account assignment combination in the reorganization plan or whether each account assignment element is considered individually.
With the standard setting, the account assignment elements are considered individually because this promotes better performance.
Note
Note that this automatically leads to a larger number of hits in searches made by the reorganization tool on the basis of the assignment table.
Use
We recommend that you only select this field in exceptional, justifiable cases.
Dependencies
- You can only select the field when creating a new plan.
- You can only select the field if you have multiple account assignment elements in your system.
Example
Old Acct Assignment New Acct Assignment
Fund A, Functional Area A Fund B, Functional Area B
- If you have selected the Account Assignment Elements Are Handled Together checkbox, the system only searches for objects (fixed assets) for which both of these account assignments (fund A and functional area A) are stored in the master record.
- If you have not selected the Account Assignment Elements Are Handled Together checkbox, the system searches for objects with fund A and any functional area as well as for objects with any fund and functional area A.
In this way, the search results also include fixed assets for which only one of the pair of account assignments is stored in the master record (for example, a fixed asset with fund A and functional area C) .
