Definition

Describes the reorganization to be performed on a specific date (reorganization date).

Use

Dependencies

A reorganization plan is characterized by the following data:

  • The reorganization date
  • The reorganization plan type. This is an attribute of a reorganization plan. It determines the reorganization unit and the reorganization activities (account assignment changes and transfer postings).

    Example: The reorganization plan type "Profit Center";

  • The restrictions in the reorganization plan; these restrictions are used to determine the affected organizational units.

    Example: Restriction to a specific controlling area;

  • The assignment table in which you determine the reassignment of the reorganization units.

    Example: For the reorganization of profit centers, you specify the following in the assignment table: Profit center 1 is divided into 1a and 1b; Profit center 3 is renamed as 3a, and so on.
