Documentation
Definition
The conversion factor for conversion to column millimeters is used to convert ad sizes that have special formats.
Use
For certain format ad types, conversion to column millimeters is the usual calculation formula.
Number of columns x height in mm
Not sufficient in itself, but should also be multiplied by a factor.
Examples
An ad that is published across the gutter margin in the
editiorial section occupies x text columns + the width of the gutter margin that is calculated as an ad column. The conversion factor should be used to control conversion to the respective column format in which the ad is to be positioned.
