Definition

Differentiated statistical setup

This indicator controls whether statistical setup of material data is to be restricted by material number and by material movements.

This means that:

  • stocks of the materials entered in the stock information structures are initialized.

AND

  • the material movements specified by the document numbers are taken into account when setting up movement info structures.

Note

It is important to note that, if no material numbers are specified,

  • the current stocks for ALL the materials currently recognized by the system will be written to the stock info structures.

OR

  • if material documents are not specified, ALL the material movements currently in the system will be set up again in the movement structures.

This can lead to considerable runtimes for setup in RIS!
