Via this field you determine the classification of an employee's expatriate assignment/relocation.
This classification may have an impact on allowance packages an employee may get. Also this classification may have an impact on the tax calculation in those countries where a foreign assigment has an impact on taxation.
Example
- An employee can be either on a
short term or a
long term assignment.
