Definition
An event in progress tracking is any occurence in the procurement process that has particular significance. It can be a business transaction in the system, such as issuing a purchase order or another occurence that is not recorded in the system. An event is always associated with a date.
You can define events either in the progress tracking transaction itself or in a progress tracking scenario in Customizing. When you then assign the scenario to the progress tracking object, the events are automatically assigned to the progress tracking object. However you can delete these events from individual objects.
