Definition
Selection mode at contract level determines whether during the selection of contracts for a data environment/HTML environment the system takes into account the validity periods of the contracts.
If the system takes the validity periods of the contracts, only contracts that are valid on the key date or start/finish in the interval period around the key date are selected. The interval period is described by the number of days after the move-out/before the move-in before the contract start/after the contract end within which the contract is to be selected.
The settings for selection mode and the interval period are also observed if the contracts are not themselves displayed but must be selected in order to display dependent objects, such as utility installations or devices.
