Indicator allowing differentiation between the various kinds of outline purchase agreement in the SAP system.

Use

The agreement type enables you to distinguish a value contract from a quantity contract, for example. The agreement type also controls the number assignment and the selection of fields to be maintained.

Example

The following agreement types are defined in the standard SAP system:

• Scheduling agreement
• Quantity contract
• Value contract
