Settings for eCATT log display
Use
The time data in the log for test configurations, test scripts and executed commands is displayed in a uniform format. Use this setting to define whether the duration, time of execution or a combination of the two values is displayed. The output can also be completely deactivated
A switch in the setting has an immediate effect on current protocol displays.
Possible settings:
D - Duration
For test configurations, test scripts and block commands such as REF, MESSAGE, IF, DO, LOOP, etc the duration always refers to the execution of the entire subordinate block of eCATT commands.
A duration is always displayed in seconds with three decimal places, for longer times minutes and hours are shown by ':' , e.g. [4:32.789].
For SUT commands that are executed in a "System Under Test" such as: FUN, ABAP, ESF, SAPGUI, WEBSERVICE, the time required internally for the application is displayed as an SUT time along with the duration, e.g. [3,45 / SUT: 2,78].
T - Time
The start time of each command, the test configuration or the test script variant is displayed as a time in the form [Hour Minute Second] according to the user setting e.g. [09:17:08].
X - Duration and time
The start time and the duration are displayed as a combination of the above data, e.g. [09:17:08 / 4:32.789].
[SPACE] - Deactivated
For test configurations, test scripts and for executed commands, neither time nor duration are displayed in the log.
Dependencies
For the eCATT log settings, it is determined in the following field, "Scope of Time Data" for which commands the above setting is effective.
