Documentation
Definition
Description of the connection data to an HTTP server.
Use
In the field HTTP Destination, you can specify a destination name of the type "HTTP Connections to External Server" or of the type "HTTP Connections to R/3 System".
These destinations are maintained in transaction SM59.
They contain data regarding host and port of the HTTP server and the access paths in the HTTP server.
You can store parts of a URL in HTTP destinations.
eCATT uses HTTP destinations in system data containers, for example, for the description of target systems used for the control of Web Dynpro applications in JAVA and ABAP.
