Definition

If the user selects the BACKUP attribute of a version of an eCATT test script or an eCATT test data container, this version is excluded from the group of versions that can be executed by a REF command or by a test configuration.

Using the BACKUP field as a restriction is only effective if more than one version of a script or test data container exists. If so, determining the version that matches the release of the software component of the target system as the version to be executed is effective.
