The search timeout is the maximum time to be used to process the search request.

Use

The timeout is used for all search queries in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search.

There are no search results for all search connectors that do not finish the search query in time.

For asynchronous searches, search results that are not available due to a timeout can be retrieved using special functions.
