Documentation
Definition
The model authorization check can be used to hide Enterprise Search connectors and categories from the user of the Enterprise Search UI.
Use
By default, the model authorization check is active on
- Enterprise Search Hubs
- Embedded Enterprise Search using the HTML5 search UI
and inactive on Embedded Enterprise Search systems.
This default behavior can be overridden by setting the check active or de-activate the check manually - independent from the Enterprise Search scenario.
Dependencies
If the model authorization check is active, users will not see connectors and categories on the search UI if they are not authorized based on authorization objects S_ESH_CONN and S_ESH_CAT.
