Supplementary Documentation - ESEVALTO 0001
Definition
Specifies the end of the period for which the waste quantity for the waste code is licensed in the waste approval.
Use
Waste quantities can be licensed and entered for a number of periods for each waste approval and waste code.
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
Take care that the time periods entered do not exceed the validity period of the waste approval. If you enter individually licensed annual quantities for a waste approval, ensure that the time periods entered for them do not overlap.
You can output the content of the Period field or the exact validity period that is defined by the Valid From and Valid To fields on disposal documents. To do this, you can specify symbols that output the content of these fields on the layout template of the disposal document. For more information about defining these symbols and editing layout templates, see the Basic Data and Tools documentation or the Report Symbols section in the Basic Data and Tools Implementation Guide.
You can set up your system to ensure that the quantities of waste specified in the waste approval are adhered to.
In Customizing for Waste Management in the IMG activity Specify Disposal Document Types, you can specify a function module that writes the waste quantity in the Quantity disposed of field from the quantities actually disposed of that were specified in the disposal documents. The standard function module outputs a message when the quantity specified in the Alert quantity is reached. The checks required for this are run for all quantities that fulfill the following criteria:
- The key date for the check lies within the period defined by the Valid from and Valid to fields.
- The No check indicator has not been set for the quantity.
Note:
The Period field is not taken into account during these checks.

Definition
Specifies the end of the quantity prediction period.
Supplementary Documentation - ESEVALTO 0004
Definition
End date of the period in which the system searches.
The data records found fulfill each selection condition on at least one day within the specified time period. The days can be different for each selection criterion.
Dependencies
If you also specify a validity interval in addition to the key date, the system searches for all data records that are valid both on the key date and on at least one day within the validity interval. This type of search is generally only useful in conjunction with another search criterion.
Example
The search for work areas illustrates how you can use the combination of key date and validity interval:
You create a search query for all work areas that contained the description *office* from 15.03.1980 through 31.12.1990 and are valid on the key date 01.01.2002. This "historical search" produces all work areas that were called *office* at some time within the validity interval, even if they were renamed in the meantime and have a different description on the key date.
