The system takes into account the alignment of the column content defined here only when the value assignment types are displayed horizontally, that is when the characteristics of a value assignment type are displayed in columns and the value assignment instances are displayed in rows. If you invert the axes, that is if you display the characteristics in rows and the value assignment instances in columns, the system always displays the values in the columns left-justified.
