Definition

Use

The following startup types for a service are supported:

  • Automatic

    The service is started automatically when a computer is switched on without a user having to be logged on or without a user having to start the service.

  • Manual

    The service is started manually at the request of a user. This can, for example, be done in Windows under Services.

  • Disabled

    If a service was disabled in the service database, it can no longer started up. The service therefore becomes temporarily unable to function.
