Use
The key uniquely identifies the instance of the assigned parameter object within the parameter hierarchy.
Note:
By defining a repeating group for a parameter object, a number of instances of a parameter object can be selected by default parameter determination.
An individual instance of a parameter object refers, for example, to an individual delivery or material. The key for the instance is then the delivery number or the material number.
As the keys for the instances of parameter objects must be unique within parameter hierarchies, it may be necessary to form artificial keys.
Example:
If you want to output item data for a number of deliveries in an EH&S report, item 10 in delivery 4711 must have a different key from item 10 in delivery 4712.
The default parameter determination should then form the key for the parameter object instance as a composite key (for example, 4711-10 and 4712-10).
The key must not exceed 40 characters in length.
You will find a detailed example under Specify Parameter Hierarchies.
